Larry Michaud has dedicated over 15 years to the home renovation industry, building a legacy marked by passion and a knack for crafting exquisite spaces. Starting his journey as a general labourer in his teens, Larry's thirst for learning led him to quickly master finish carpentry and tile setting. His talents were recognised at a leading Toronto renovation firm, where he advanced from skilled tradesman to Site Supervisor, then to Project Manager and Foreman.
In 2014, inspired to chart his own course, Larry established Firmbuilt Contracting Inc., quickly earning a reputation for superior quality and service. By 2016, the company evolved into Firmbuilt Contracting and Design, incorporating in-house interior design services to its offerings.
Larry's dedication to learning remains unwavering. He actively attends industry seminars to stay abreast of the latest construction techniques and materials, ensuring his clients always receive top-notch service and results. Melissa Michaud
Owner, Designer and REALTOR®
Melissa's job at Firmbuilt Contracting and Design brings her immense joy, especially when she witnesses clients' awe upon unveiling their beautifully renovated spaces. In 2014, Melissa co-founded Firmbuilt while concurrently working for a leading renovation materials distributor. This experience allowed her to gain invaluable skills in residential and commercial flooring, waterproofing, shower building materials, tile and stone installation, and more.
Eventually, she dedicated herself full-time to Firmbuilt, managing all design-related tasks and overseeing general operations. After a few years, Melissa saw an opportunity to expand her expertise, and became a licensed real estate agent, allowing her to offer even more value to her clients.
Melissa's unique blend of construction knowledge, aesthetic vision and real estate experience makes her an invaluable asset to clients, guiding them through the real estate, design and renovation process with expertise.
